United States Forces Korea is aware of two recent on-installation events that displayed poor judgment and actions inconsistent with USFK’s core tenets and COVID-19 health protection mitigation measures.

주한미군은 최근 두 개의 기지내에서 주한미군의 핵심 규정과 코로나19 방역 조치와 부합하지 않는 어리석은 판단과 행동을 보인 활동들에 대해 인지하고 있습니다.

These recent activities on United States Army Garrison - Humphreys and Osan Air Base do not reflect USFK’s commitment to mitigating the spread of COVID-19.

험프리스 기지와 오산 공군 기지내에서의 이러한 활동들은 주한미군의 코로나19 확산 방지를 위한 노력을 반영하지 않는 것입니다.

USFK has closed both facilities involved in the recent incidents until further notice and will continue to implement mitigation measures to ensure our installations remain consistent with our core tenets and ROK government social distancing measures.  

주한미군은 향후 공지시까지 그러한 사건들과 관련된 두 개의 시설을 폐쇄하고, 기지내 시설들이 주한미군의 핵심 규정과 한국 정부의 사회적 거리두기 지침을 여전히 준수하도록 하는 방역 조치들을 지속해서 시행할 것입니다. 

USFK expects all USFK-affiliated individuals to conduct themselves appropriately while following all USFK core tenets and HPCON mitigation measures - both on and off installation -at all times.

주한미군은 모든 주한미군 소속 인원들이 기지 내외에서 항시 주한미군 핵심 규정과 보건방호태세 방역 조치들을 적절히 따라서 행동할 것을 기대하고 있습니다.

USFK remains committed to being good neighbors with the Republic of Korea and to reinforcing USFK’s core tenet standards that continue to protect both the ROK and USFK communities.
