Command Sergeant Major Jack H. Love graduated high school in 1987 and enlisted in the United States Army in January 1989. He received his Basic and AIT at Fort Benning, GA and became an Infantryman. During his 35 years of service, he has held numerous leadership positions.
His previous assignments include: HQDA G-3/5/7; United States Military Academy; Combined Security Transition Command-Afghanistan; 7th Infantry Division; 8th Brigade ROTC; 2nd Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment; 1st Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment; Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2nd Brigade Combat Team; 2nd Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment; 2nd Battalion 47th Infantry Regiment; 1st Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment; 1st Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment (ASSLT); 1st Battalion,18th Infantry Regiment (mech); 2nd Battalion,12th Infantry Regiment (mech). CSM Love’s combat deployments include: five (5) combat tours in Iraq, and two (2) combat tours in Afghanistan.
CSM Love has completed all levels of the NCOPDS and the following military schools: Ranger, Jumpmaster, Pathfinder, Drill Sergeant, Air-Assault, Airborne, Master Fitness, Air-Movement Operations, First Sergeant Course, United States Army Sergeants Major Academy (Class 59), BN&BDE Command Sergeants Major Course, Army Force Management, Nominative Leaders Course and the Keystone course.
CSM Love is a member of the Sergeant Audie Murphy Club, a recipient of the Order of Saint Maurice (Centurion), and a distinguished member of the 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment.

CSM Love has been married to his wife Cindy for 33 years. They have three adult children; Jake (27), Tori (25), Slade (22) and their grand-daughter Haven (6).
