A USFK Soldier stationed at Camp Casey tested positive for COVID-19 today.

The Soldier is currently being transported to the Brian D. Allgood Army Community Hospital located at United States Army Garrison - Humphreys where he will isolate in a hospital room designated specifically for COVID-19 cases.

Contact tracing is ongoing, and USFK medical teams are actively ensuring that all known Camp Casey facilities visited by the Soldier are thoroughly cleaned.

Despite this confirmed case, USFK remains at a high level of readiness with less than 1% of its force currently confirmed positive with COVID-19.

USFK continues to maintain a robust combined defense posture to protect the Republic of Korea against any threat or adversary while maintaining prudent preventive measures to protect the force.
