A USFK Soldier stationed at Camp Humphreys tested positive for COVID-19 Thursday evening, making this the 2nd U.S. service member and 11th USFK-related person to be confirmed with the virus.
The Soldier is currently in isolation in a Camp Humphreys barracks designated to house confirmed COVID-19 cases.
She last reported for work and visited various Camp Humphreys’ locations on March 26.
USFK is actively conducting contact tracing to determine whether anyone else may have been exposed, and is thoroughly cleaning all the known locations she’s visited in the last 48 hours.
USFK remains at risk level “high” peninsula-wide and is implementing all appropriate control measures, including a declared Public Health Emergency on March 25, to stop the spread of COVID-19 as prudent decisions to protect the force.
Additional information will be provided by USFK as it becomes available.
