All USFK Individuals "shelter in place" until Tuesday, Jan. 19 at 2359

By USFK Public Affairs U.S. Forces Korea

Effective immediately, out of an abundance of caution to protect the force, USFK has directed all individuals affiliated with either USAG-Yongsan or USAG-Humphreys - regardless if residing on or off installation - will immediately “shelter in place” until Tuesday, Jan. 19 at 11:59 pm.

USFK defines “shelter in place” as remaining at your residence - including other occupants or residents - except for life, health, safety and essential services to include food and medicine purchases.

Bubble-to-bubble movement or travel to/from USAG-Yongsan or USAG-Humphreys and any other USFK installation is not authorized until further notice; mission critical individuals can be granted an exception by their command to perform assigned and authorized duties and missions.

Any individual who traveled to USAG-Yongsan from Jan. 6 - 15, will notify their chain of command, and contact the COVID Hotline at 050.3337.2556 for further instructions; 65th MED will contact all individuals identified as part of their contact trace.

All USFK-affiliated individuals are reminded to adhere to all USFK core tenets, HPCON measures and ROK government and local directives to protect yourself, your bubble and others from COVID-19.

These directives will give USFK the time needed to thoroughly complete its COVID-19 contact tracing.

We must protect the force to protect the mission.

Note:

The following list provides on and off installation authorized activities through Tuesday, Jan 19 at 11:59 pm. If you have questions about these authorizations, contact your chain of command or supervisor, and not the

COVID-19 Hotline. You should ONLY call the COVID-19 Hotline if you are experiencing COVID-like symptoms or have been directed to do so by your chain of command.
