The first section of the 331st Transportation Company’s Trident Pier eases into position along Dogu Beach near the South Korean port city of Pohang, April 7, 2017 in preparation of Operation Pacific Reach Exercise 2017. The pier will serve as a disembarkation point for ship-to-shore operations during the combined Republic of Korea – U.S. exercise. Also known as OPRex17, the exercise is a bilateral training event designed to ensure readiness and sustain the capabilities which strengthen the ROK-U.S. alliance.
