A USFK Korean National employee who works at Camp Casey tested positive for COVID-19 today.

The employee is currently in quarantine at his off-installation home awaiting transport to an off-post Korean medical facility designated for confirmed COVID-19 cases.

Contact tracing is ongoing. USFK and local RoK public health officials are actively ensuring that all known on-post and off-post facilities visited by the employee are thoroughly cleaned.

Despite this confirmed case, USFK remains at a high level of readiness with less than 1% of its force currently confirmed positive with COVID-19.

USFK continues to maintain a robust combined defense posture to protect the Republic of Korea against any threat or adversary while maintaining prudent preventive measures to protect the force.
