ROK Employees integral part of USFK workforce

YONGSAN GARRISON, SEOUL, Republic of Korea – ROK employees are and will remain an integral part of USFK's workforce.

"We are fully committed to taking care of our civilian workforce, just like they’ve taken care of us," said Gen. Vincent K. Brooks, Commander, United States Forces Korea. "Our dedicated employees are an integral part of our team and contribute greatly to the strength and continued success of our Alliance. As such, we remain committed to an open dialogue throughout this entire transformation process."

Every day ROK employees work alongside U.S. civilian and military service members to strengthen the ROK-US Alliance. As USFK implements the plan agreed to by the Korean and U.S. governments to transition to two enduring hubs south of Seoul, it remains committed to making every effort to help our employees during this transition.

USFK's senior leadership is engaged in a series of town hall meetings to share information with all of its employees, including plans for relocation of Korean employees. These meetings will be held monthly at the impacted installations. Employees with questions are encouraged to attend the town halls as well as ask their supervisors about their organization's transformation plan.
