African American History Month Observance

Eighth U.S. Army observed Black History Month hosted by the 65th Medical Brigade Feb 13 at the Dragon Hill Lodge. Col. Angelia Farnell , USFK Secretary Combined Joint Staff, served as the guest speaker for the event. “We must stop defining a person’s capabilities by the color of their skin, their religious beliefs, their sex or their gender,” she said. “Together we make a difference and it starts with us celebrating each other, lifting each other up, learning about each other, giving each other opportunities all of the time and not just during a designated month.”(U.S. Army photo by Cpl.
