U.S. and Republic of Korea conduct Combined Air Training

The Republic of Korea and U.S. conducted a combined aerial exercise in conjunction with the deployment of U.S. B-1B Strategic Bombers to the Korean Peninsula on the 8th day of the Ulchi Freedom Shield 23 exercise which began on August 21.
The combined air training event with ROK and U.S. Air Force’s fighters was conducted as a display of our combined defense posture, extended deterrence, and rapid deployment capability.
The ROK and U.S. Alliance always maintain the highest level of readiness, dedication to peace and prosperity through the region, and our commitment to the defense of the Republic of Korea remains ironclad.
