USAG Humphreys, Republic of Korea — —
Continuing from February 1st, the Republic of Korea Air Force and the United States Air Force (USAF) conducted a combined aerial exercise over the Yellow Sea on 3rd February. The exercise included various assets such as 5th generation fighter jets of both nations including F-22s, F-35Bs, and F-35As as well as USAF F-16CMs.
The combined exercise was conducted to enhance both Air Forces’ interoperability and capability to execute combined operations while demonstrating the U.S.’s unwavering commitment and capability in implementing the commitment to defend the Republic of Korea.
While maintaining a robust combined defense posture, Air Forces of ROK and U.S. will continue to bolster combined exercises in order to build a strong response capability and posture against DPRK's nuclear and missile threats.
