USAG Humphreys, Republic of Korea —

United Nations Command, Combined Forces Command and United States Forces Korea bid farewell to the Republic of Korea Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff at United States Army Garrison - Humphreys today.

유엔군사령부/연합군사령부/주한미군사령부는 오늘 험프리스 미군기지에서 대한민국 합동참모의장 환송행사를 개최하였다.

 

Gen. Paul LaCamera, UNC/CFC/USFK Commander, hosted ROK JCS Chairman Gen. Won In-choul’s farewell ceremony.

유엔군사령부/연합군사령부/주한미군사령관 폴 러캐머라 대장이 대한민국 합동참모의장 원인철 대장의 환송행사를 주관하였다.

 

Gen. LaCamera expressed his gratitude to Gen. Won for his leadership and contributions to maintaining a robust combined defense posture and the ironclad ROK-U.S. alliance.

러캐머라 사령관은 굳건한 연합방위태세 및 철통같은 한미동맹 유지에 도움을 준 합동참모의장 원인철 대장의 리더십과 공헌에 감사를 표했다.

 

The ceremony occurred at Barker Field, home to UNC and USFK headquarters, and included approximately 100 distinguished ROK-U.S. military leaders and guests.

금일 행사는 유엔군사령부 및 주한미군사령부가 위치한 캠프 험프리스 바커필드에서 개최되었으며, 100 여명의 한미 군 지도부 및 관계자들이 참석하였다.

 

Gen. Won served as ROK JCS chairman since September 2020. His career included assignments as ROK Air Force chief of staff, vice chairman of ROK JCS, and commanding general of ROK Air Force Operations Command.

원인철 대장은 2020 년 9 월부터 합참의장직을 수행하였으며, 공군 참모총장, 합동참모차장, 공군작전사령관 등의 직위를 역임하였다.

 

The detailed ceremony included music from the Eighth Army Band, a 19-gun salute by a 2nd Infantry Division/ROK-U.S. Combined Division salute battery, an inspection of the troop formation and concluded with a retreat ceremony.

금일 행사에는 미 8 군 군악대 연주, 미 2 사단/한미연합사단의 열아홉발 예포 발사, 열병 및 하기식이 포함되었다.
