USAG Humphreys, Republic of Korea —
In order to align USFK confirmed COVID-19 reporting with Republic of Korea government and U.S. Department of Defense reporting, USFK will stop issuing routine press releases regarding individualized local and arrival cases, and will transition to providing these confirmed cases on USFK’s website located at www.usfk.mil/coronavirus.
These numbers will be posted each Tuesday and will account for the previous seven days of accumulated confirmed cases separated into local and arrival cases. However, as USFK’s most recent press release was Oct. 28, our numbers will include all confirmed cases since then which equates to 63 local and eight arrival cases.
All individuals confirmed with COVID-19 have been placed in isolation at United States Army Garrison - Humphreys or Osan Air Base facilities designated for confirmed COVID-19 cases or at their on-installation residence.
USFK remains at a high level of readiness with more than 85% of its affiliated community vaccinated, and less than 1% of its active duty service members currently confirmed positive with COVID-19.
USFK continues to maintain a robust combined defense posture to protect the Republic of Korea against any threat or adversary while maintaining prudent preventive measures to protect the force.
