USFK monitors situations on the Korean Peninsula

YONGSAN GARRISON, SEOUL, Republic of Korea – United States Forces Korea continues to closely monitor the situation between our Republic of Korea allies and the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.

We are observing the ongoing high level inter-Korean talks and understand its impact on the future of the Korean Peninsula.

The safety of our personnel and families remains paramount.

Personnel should continue to keep in close contact with their units for the most accurate and timely information.
