The first USFK active duty service member who tested positive for COVID-19 on February 26 has been declared virus-free by USFK military medical doctors.

 

지난 2월 26일 코로나바이러스 확진판정을 받은 첫번째 주한미군 미군 병사가 주한미군 군의관들에 의해 완치판정을 받았다.

 

Since being diagnosed with COVID-19, the service member spent 49 days in isolation, and has returned to his off-base residence outside Camp Carroll where he awaits his chain of command’s decision to determine when he will return to duty.

 

이 미군은 코로나바이러스 감염 진단을 받은 이후 49일 동안 격리된 상태로 지냈으며, 캠프캐롤 부대 밖 자신의 집으로 돌아와, 그의 지휘계통에서 그가 언제 근무에 복귀해도 될지에 대한 결정이 내려지기를 기다리고 있다.

 

The service member was cleared from isolation after having been asymptomatic for more than seven days, being fever-free without the use of fever-reducing medications, successfully passing two consecutive COVID-19 tests with negative results at least 24 hours apart, and being cleared by USFK medical providers.

 

이 미군은 7일 이상 증상이 나타나지 않고, 해열제 복용없이도 발열 증상이 없었으며, 최소 24시간 간격으로 진행된 진단 검사에서 두 번 연속으로 음성판정을 받고, 주한미군 의료진에 의해 완치 판정을 받았다.  

 

Along with the service member, ten other USFK-related U.S. and Korean National dependents and civilians have been declared COVID-19 virus-free since March 15.

 

3월 15일 이후로 이 장병을 포함한 10명의 다른 주한미군 관련 미국과 한국 국적 부양가족과 민간인이 코로나바이러스로부터 완치 판정을 받았다.

 

USFK remains at a high level of readiness with only two active duty service members who’ve tested positive for COVID-19, and continues to maintain a robust combined defense posture to protect the Republic of Korea against any threat or adversary while maintaining prudent preventive measures to protect the force.

 

코로나 바이러스 양성판정을 받은 미군 장병은 단 2명으로, 주한미군은 높은 수준의 준비태세를 유지하고 있으며, 군을 방호하기 위한 신중한 예방조치를 시행하면서 대한민국을 어떠한 위협이나 적으로부터 보호하기 위해 강력한 연합방위태세를 계속 유지하고 있다.
