Household Goods

Household Goods (HHG) and Unaccompanied Baggage (UB) Delivery in Korea

Upon arrival in the Republic of Korea, all U.S. military personnel and their eligible dependents must coordinate the delivery of their household goods (HHG) and unaccompanied baggage (UB) shipments.

To initiate the delivery process:

  • Log into the Defense Personal Property System (DPS) to update your contact information, including a valid Korean mobile phone number and verified email address.

  • Once your shipment arrives at the transportation agent’s warehouse in Korea, the agent company will reach out to you directly via phone or email to arrange a delivery date.

  • You will coordinate your delivery appointment directly with the local agent once contacted.

If you are not prepared to receive your shipment upon arrival, HHG and UB can be placed into temporary storage for up to 90 days at government expense. Additional storage or support beyond the authorized time frame may require coordination with your servicing installation transportation office.
