Ulchi Freedom Shield

Ulchi Freedom Shield – a combined, joint, all-domain, and interagency operating environment. This annual exercise aims to build understanding between Combined Forces Command, United States Forces Korea, the United Nations Command, and ROK Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), ensuring their ability to fortify the combined defense posture and enhance Alliance response capabilities against a spectrum of security threats. It will feature live, virtual, constructive and field-based training, engaging personnel from the various military services.

A Cell on Light Truck is staged during Marine Air-Ground Task Force Warfighting Exercise as part of Service Level Training Exercise 1-25 at Range 220, Marine Corps Air-Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, California, Feb. 21, 2025. The COLT is a mobile 5G antenna that allows the Marine Corps to use new and advanced communication technologies. MWX is a comprehensive force-on-force training event designed to enhance the operational readiness and combat effectiveness of all MAGTF elements by simulating complex and dynamic battle scenarios while refining tactics. Service Level Training Exercise 1-25 is purpose built to increase readiness across Core Mission Essential Tasks by employing modern training tools and comprehensive data capture.
