Ulchi Freedom Shield

Ulchi Freedom Shield – a combined, joint, all-domain, and interagency operating environment. This annual exercise aims to build understanding between Combined Forces Command, United States Forces Korea, the United Nations Command, and ROK Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), ensuring their ability to fortify the combined defense posture and enhance Alliance response capabilities against a spectrum of security threats. It will feature live, virtual, constructive and field-based training, engaging personnel from the various military services.

Team USA soared to gold in 8-Way Formation Skydiving at the 5th FAI World Indoor Skydiving Championships, facing off against six nations on the world stage. Representing the United States were SFC Jesse Stahler, SFC Mike Connors, Drew Starr, Kirk Verner, Matt Davidson, Andrew Happick, Jeana Billings, and John D’Annuzio. The team made history, achieving a record-breaking 32.5 average across 10 rounds—setting two new world records for the highest total points and highest average score over 10 rounds.
