Ulchi Freedom Shield

Ulchi Freedom Shield – a combined, joint, all-domain, and interagency operating environment. This annual exercise aims to build understanding between Combined Forces Command, United States Forces Korea, the United Nations Command, and ROK Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), ensuring their ability to fortify the combined defense posture and enhance Alliance response capabilities against a spectrum of security threats. It will feature live, virtual, constructive and field-based training, engaging personnel from the various military services.

Col. Matthew Elder, commander, and Command Sgt. Maj. Aaron Johnson, the Senior Enlisted Leader, both of the 32nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team (IBCT), Wisconsin National Guard send greetings from the Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) on Fort Johnson, Louisiana. Our Soldiers are ramping up for some great training in the next few weeks. Keep an eye out for updates as we get closer to our time in “the box.”
