Ulchi Freedom Shield

Ulchi Freedom Shield – a combined, joint, all-domain, and interagency operating environment. This annual exercise aims to build understanding between Combined Forces Command, United States Forces Korea, the United Nations Command, and ROK Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), ensuring their ability to fortify the combined defense posture and enhance Alliance response capabilities against a spectrum of security threats. It will feature live, virtual, constructive and field-based training, engaging personnel from the various military services.

Hungarian and Serbian soldiers participate in Ohio’s Region IV Best Warrior Competition

Soldiers from the Hungarian Defence Forces and Serbian Armed Forces participated in the Region IV Best Warrior Competition at Newton Falls, Ohio, May 3-7, 2023. The HDF and SAF competitors attended as part of Ohio National Guard’s State Partnership Program and competed with U.S. Army National Guard Soldiers from Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin.

The b-roll package includes shots of HDF and SAF soldiers participating in Region IV BWC events including physical fitness events, a medical evacuation lane, marksmanship, Army Warrior Tasks, and a stress shoot.
