Ulchi Freedom Shield

Ulchi Freedom Shield – a combined, joint, all-domain, and interagency operating environment. This annual exercise aims to build understanding between Combined Forces Command, United States Forces Korea, the United Nations Command, and ROK Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), ensuring their ability to fortify the combined defense posture and enhance Alliance response capabilities against a spectrum of security threats. It will feature live, virtual, constructive and field-based training, engaging personnel from the various military services.

Airmen and civilian workers at the 434th Air Refueling Wing fill a C-5M Super Galaxy with military equipment at Grissom Air Reserve Base, Ind. on January 31, 2025. The 434th ARW loaded more than a dozen pieces of heavy equipment onto the jet flown by the 68th Airlift Squadron for shipment to Cope North 2025. CN25 is an annual multinational, U.S. Pacific Air Forces sponsored field training exercise focused on Combat Air Force training to increase partner nation interoperability.
