Ulchi Freedom Shield

Ulchi Freedom Shield – a combined, joint, all-domain, and interagency operating environment. This annual exercise aims to build understanding between Combined Forces Command, United States Forces Korea, the United Nations Command, and ROK Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), ensuring their ability to fortify the combined defense posture and enhance Alliance response capabilities against a spectrum of security threats. It will feature live, virtual, constructive and field-based training, engaging personnel from the various military services.

U.S. Air Force Reserve members attend a medical rodeo hosted by Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, Aug. 7, 2024. During the Guam IRT mission, 147 service members completed over 5,500 hours of training, including 932 clinical hours. The dual mission, funded by the Department of Defense, provided a military training opportunity exclusive to the United States and its territories while also providing a pop-up clinic to provide locals with free basic medical, dental, and optometry needs.
