Ulchi Freedom Shield

Ulchi Freedom Shield – a combined, joint, all-domain, and interagency operating environment. This annual exercise aims to build understanding between Combined Forces Command, United States Forces Korea, the United Nations Command, and ROK Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), ensuring their ability to fortify the combined defense posture and enhance Alliance response capabilities against a spectrum of security threats. It will feature live, virtual, constructive and field-based training, engaging personnel from the various military services.

U.S Air Force F-15E Strike Eagles assigned to the 48th Fighter Wing are at Aalborg Air Base, Denmark, in support of a combined readiness exercise, Oct. 30- Nov 6, 2020. The 48th FW continuously exercises ways to improve our passive and active defense capabilities to ensure our advantage in resiliency and protect our assets and personnel.
