Biography

Bill Kidd has served as Director for Forces, Resources and Assessment (J8) at Headquarters, U.S. Forces Korea since June, 2015. Prior to his selection as the Director, he served as the Deputy Director since March, 2014. He advocates for future capabilities and forces to accomplish United States Force Korea’s mission, conducts studies and analyses to address future force requirements and fill United States Forces Korea’s capability gaps, manages the headquarters budget, supports the Command’s planning and programming efforts; and serves as a subject matter expert for all transformation and resource management efforts in Korea.
